Host Team OSCAR Downstream / Singureni Manor Polo Club Wins the Trophy at Singureni Manor Polo Cup 2025, Marking the Debut of the Romanian Club Team in the Competition
This past weekend, the Singureni Manor Polo Cup brought together spectacle, elegance, and world-class sport. In the final of the second edition, the host team OSCAR Downstream / Singureni Manor Polo Club claimed the trophy, defeating the CORINTHIA / SASS’ Restaurant & Lounge / Maltese Falcons team from Malta with a score of 6-3.
The victory of the team, composed of Cristina Roșu, Massimo Baggi, Adrián Laplacette Jr., and Agustín Kronhaus, holds a special significance: this year marked the first time that Singureni Manor Polo Club from Romania participated in an international tournament, writing an important chapter in polo history.
For Cristina Roșu, the tournament was the fulfillment of a dream: she competed for the first time in a polo competition alongside top international players. “It is an honor to be part of Team OSCAR in this historic moment. This sport embodies strength, speed, and strategy, but above all, passion and dedication. I hope our story inspires others to believe that nothing is impossible,” said Cristina Roșu, captain of Singureni Manor Polo Club.
